Policy 6-500: Curriculum Management and Administration

Effective June 10, 2026, the university revised Policy 6-500: Curriculum Management and Administration to require that combined bachelor's and master's programs first confer the bachelor's degree upon completion of bachelor's degree requirements and then confer the master’s degrees in so-called “4+1” pathways. Previously, the policy required the bachelor’s degree to be conferred only upon completion of the master’s degree. 

Policy 6-100: Instruction and Evaluation

The university approved revisions to Policy 6-100: Instruction and Evaluation to take effect on August 1, 2026. These changes are intended to better align the policy with regulatory requirements and promote student success. In addition to revisions to the policy, the university moved requirements from the policy into rules to improve organization and access to information.

Policy 3-233: Operation of Vehicles on Pedestrian Walks

Effective March 10, 2026, the university revised Policy 3-233: Operation of Vehicles on Pedestrian Walks to match existing practices and to clarify the types of motor vehicles to which the policy applies. This policy changes does not affect bicycles or scooters, including e-bikes or electric scooters, which are governed by Policy 3-232.
