Retention, Promotion, and Tenure Standards

Per Policy 6-303, each division, department, school, or college shall develop and revise, as needed, a statement of criteria, standards, evidence, and procedures to be used for tenure-line faculty reviews for retention, promotion, tenure, and informal reviews. These standards require the approval of the academic unit faculty, dean, the Senate Faculty Review Standards Committee (SFRSC), and the cognizant senior vice president. To assist with this process, the SFRSC has developed, with Senior Vice President support, a template with the requirements from policy.
