Rule R7-001A: Prohibition of Participation in Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Programs
Effective June 12, 2024 as an interim rule and approved as a final rule June 24, 2024, the University created Rule R7-001A: Prohibition of Participation in Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Programs to comply with the CHIPS and Science Act of of 2022, which prohibits federal agencies from providing funding or making an award of a fundamental research project proposal in which a covered individual is participating in a malign foreign talent recruitment program.
