Effective October 11, 2022, Policy 7-013: Copyright Policy: Copying of Copyrighted Works Section E-Copying by University Libraries discontinues reliance on the CONTU Copyright Guidelines in evaluating Interlibrary Loan activity. Instead the University will review copyright based on U.S. Copyright Law Title 17 Section 108 and pay copyright fees based on that review. This change impacts the interlibrary loan departments from the three campus libraries: Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, James E. Faust Law Library and the J. Willard Marriott Library, but does not change the process or resources available to the campus community through Interlibrary Loan.
