Policy 3-030: University Travel and Related Rules

Effective March 20, 2025, the university revised Policy 3-030: Travel Policy to consolidate existing travel policy and replace outdated language. As part of this revision, existing rules R3-030A: Airfare Costs and Class of Service, R3-030B: Travel Cash Advances, and R3-030C: Per Diem were repealed and replaced by new versions of R3-030A: University Travel Payment and Allowable Expenses and R3-030B: Group Travel. Policy 1-011: Campus Security

Effective May 20, 2025, the university revised Policy 1-011: Campus Security to comply with the federal Stop Campus Hazing Act. This act requires the university to report hazing incidents, implement prevention programs, and publicly disclose hazing policies and violations.

Policy 6-101: Undergraduate Study and Degrees

The university approved revisions to Policy 6-101 to reduce the number of credits required for a baccalaureate degree from 122 to 120 beginning with the 2025-26 academic year. This change was required by state law and Utah Board of Higher Education policy.

Policy 1-015: Safety of Minors Participating in University Programs or Programs Held on University Premises

Effective March 11, 2025, the university revised Policy 1-015: Safety of Minors Participating in University Programs or Programs Held on University Premises to align the policy with best practices in youth protection and the university's current administrative structure for addressing youth protection. As part of this revision, the university incorporated Rule R1-015A: Safety of Minors- Code of Conduct and Reporting Obligations and Guideline G1-015B: Safety of Minors Participating in University Programs or Programs Held on University Premises into Policy 1-015.
