Policy 6-407 was revised as an interim policy in July, 2021. This final policy was enacted with no changes from the interim policy. It establishes the University General Student Fees Advisory Board and governs the University's processes for establishing, reviewing, revising, or repealing general student fees. Revised Policy 6-001 and related rules establish a comprehensive system for creating and reviewing University Academic Centers and Institutes by making a small number of significant changes to the existing contents of Policy 6-001, and adopting new Rule 6-001UACI with details to implement the principles in the main policy. In addition, the University enacted Rule 6-001CMP, to move content related to curriculum management plans out of the main policy and into this new rule. Revised Interim Policy 1-006 and Interim Rule 1-006C change the University's conflict of interest policy in order to comply with federal regulations. The interim policy and rule will remain in effect until permanent versions are adopted, which is anticipated to occur in winter 2022.
