Policy: Requirements for the Degree of Master of Music
Course Requirements. Admission policies and the studies
required for the M.Mus. degree must conform to university
graduate standards and practices. At least 45 graduate
credit hours are required for the M.Mus. degree. Candidates
for the M.Mus. degree must meet all course requirements and
manifest proficiency in their respective fields of
concentration. Depending upon the specific degree,
candidates for the M.F.A. and M.Mus. must also fulfill a
thesis or nonthesis program requirement.
