The University Regulations Office
The University Regulations Office assists the university community with university policies, rules, procedures, and guidelines; provides technical assistance to units revising university regulations; guides university units through the university's regulation revision process; provides education, resources, and training related to university regulations; and updates and maintains the Regulations Library. The University Regulations Office promotes transparency, integrity, and consultation in the university's regulation revision process.

Policy 6-321: Required Reviews for Tenured Faculty
In response to changes in state law, Utah Board of Higher Education regulations, and to institutional feedback on the tenured faculty review (TFR) process, Policy 6-321 has been updated effective December 17, 2024. The updates address the legal requirements, Utah Board of Higher Education requirements, and institutional requests including feedback received through the shared governance process.

Effective November 12, 2024, the university revised Policy 6-406: Special Course and Special Program Fees to comply with requirements established by the Utah Board of Higher Education and to clarify processes and requirements related to creating and renewing course and program fees.

Effective November 12, 2024, the university revised Policy 3-044: Museum and Library Collections and Non-Museum Decorative Items to align with revisions to the American Alliance of Museums' (AAM) Code of Ethics for Museums related to the use of funds from deaccessioned objects.
